كما شهدت العاصمة اليونانية مظاهرات شارك فيها المئات أمام السفارة الإسرائيلية، حيث تدخلت قوات مكافحة الشغب واعتقلت عددا من المحتجين. ورفع المتظاهرون الأعلام الفلسطينية ورددوا هتافات تدين ما وصفوه بـ"تواطؤ الغرب في استمرار المجازر بحق المدنيين" الفلسطينيين.

ويأتي هذا الحراك العالمي مع استمرار الدعوات الأممية والمنظمات الحقوقية لفتح تحقيقات دولية بشأن الانتهاكات التي ارتُكبت خلال الحرب الإسرائيلية على قطاع غزة، والتي خلّفت عشرات الآلاف من القتلى والجرحى، معظمهم من النساء والأطفال.
