في مخيم البريج أطفال يتوارثون الألم

لم يسلم مخيم البريج من انتهاكات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، التي استهدفت قطاع غزة بالكامل منذ أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2023 إلى اليوم، حيث ارتكبت فيه قوات الاحتلال مجازر أدت لاستشهاد العشرات ودمرت المنازل وأسقطتها فوق رؤوس ساكنيها.

يقع المخيم وسط القطاع، وكانت أنشأته وكالة أونروا لاستضافة اللاجئين بعد نكبة 1948، ويُعرف باكتظاظه السكاني وضيق مساحته.

وتعرض اللاجئون فيه لعدة مجازر على يد الاحتلال الإسرائيلي خلال تاريخ المخيم، حيث قصفوا بقنابل الفسفور المحرمة دوليا، وتم إلقاء القنابل من نوافذ منازل اللاجئين وهم نيام.

ولا يمكن لأحد منا أن ينسى أيقونة انتفاضة الأقصى الشهيد محمد الدرة، الذي ولد عام 1988 وعاش مع عائلته النازحة في مخيم البريج حتى استشهاده.

وفي الغارة الإسرائيلية الأخيرة على منزل بالمخيم، استيقظ أهالي البريج اليوم التاسع من أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2024، على ارتفاع بعدد الشهداء وصل إلى 19 شهيدا، بينهم أطفال.
